GTA 5 PC Cheats Master List: Invincibility, Weapons, Buzzard & Supercars Guide

1. How to Enter Cheat Codes in GTA 5 on PC

Entering cheat codes in Grand Theft Auto V on PC is fast and intuitive. Players have two primary methods to activate cheats:

Method 1: The In-Game Tilde (~) Console

While playing, simply press the tilde key (`~` or `` ` ``) located directly beneath the Escape key on standard QWERTY keyboards. A translucent command prompt bar will slide down from the top-left of the screen. Type the exact cheat word (e.g., `PAINKILLER`) and press Enter. A confirmation banner will immediately appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen stating *"Cheat code activated"*.

Method 2: The In-Game Smartphone (Cell Phone Numbers)

Alternatively, you can pull up your character's cell phone by pressing the Up Arrow key or clicking the mouse wheel. Navigate to the Contacts menu, press Spacebar to bring up the dial pad, and enter the official 1-999 phone number corresponding to the cheat (e.g., `1-999-724-654-5537` for Invincibility). Press call to activate.

Important Rules to Remember:

• Trophies & Achievements: Activating any cheat code immediately disables achievements and trophies for your current play session. If you wish to earn 100% story completion achievements, always save your game *before* activating cheats, and reload your clean save file once your rampage is complete.
• Mission Restrictions: Cheats cannot be activated during active storyline mission sequences. If you enter a mission cutscene while a cheat is active (such as invincibility or super jump), the cheat will automatically deactivate.
• Session Duration: Most player ability cheats (such as God Mode) have a timed duration of five minutes, after which they must be re-entered.

2. Player Ability & Status Cheat Codes

These cheats modify your protagonist's health, body armor, damage immunity, and movement speeds:

3. Weapons, Combat & Ballistics Cheats

Turn your protagonist into an unstoppable one-man army with unlimited heavy weapons and specialized ammunition:

| DEADEYE | `1-999-332-3393` | Slow-Motion Aim: Slows down game time whenever you right-click to aim your weapon. Enter up to 3 times to increase slow-mo intensity.

4. Vehicle Spawn Cheats: Supercars, Choppers & Planes

Spawning vehicles directly in front of you is the most popular way to enjoy GTA 5 sandbox free roam. Ensure you are standing in an open area with sufficient clearance before typing the code:

5. World & Environmental Modifier Cheats

Alter atmospheric conditions, gravity, and vehicle physics across Blaine County and Los Santos:

7. Top 5 Creative Cheat Combos & Sandbox Rampage Challenges

Taking individual cheats to their extreme limits by combining them creates entirely new gameplay loops in Los Santos:

1. The Low-Earth Orbit Superman Combo

• Cheats Required: (Super Jump) + (Fast Run) + (Moon Gravity) + (Parachute).
• Execution: Sprint down Vinewood Boulevard, hold Spacebar to initiate a Super Jump. Under Moon Gravity, your character launches hundreds of feet above skyscrapers. Deploy your parachute at the apex to glide across the entire map from downtown Los Santos to the shores of Alamo Sea.

2. The Hollywood Action Movie Pursuit

• Cheats Required: (Explosive Ammo) + (Slow-Mo Aim) + (Invincibility) + (Raise Wanted Level x4).
• Execution: Maximize police pursuit to 5 stars. Stand atop an overturned bus or bridge overpass. As police cruisers and SWAT vans barrel toward you, activate slow-motion aim and detonate engine blocks with single explosive pistol rounds.

3. The Initial D Drift King Challenge

• Cheats Required: (Slippery Cars) + (Spawn Sports Car).
• Execution: Drive through the winding switchbacks of Vinewood Hills and the Tongva Valley mountain passes. Zero friction forces you to balance throttle feathering and opposite-lock steering for unbroken multi-mile drifts.

4. The Skyfall Superhero Landing

• Cheats Required: + (Invincibility).
• Execution: Activate immediately before typing . You will plummet from 10,000 feet directly into downtown sidewalks, triggering a crater impact without taking damage.

5. The Maximum Chaos Demolition Derby

• Cheats Required: (Garbage Truck) + (Repair / Armor) + (Explosive Melee).
• Execution: Drive a heavy municipal garbage truck at full throttle through packed downtown traffic, ramming sports cars into walls.

8. Evolution of Cheats: GTA 5 vs. GTA Vice City & San Andreas

The cheat code architecture in GTA 5 marks a sophisticated evolution from previous 3D-era titles. In GTA Vice City and San Andreas, cheat codes permanently altered ped flags in save data—often corrupting player save files irreversibly (such as the infamous pedestrian riot glitch preventing Madd Dogg from jumping). In GTA 5, Rockstar implemented a dedicated session-based sandbox sandbox wrapper that isolates cheat modifications, protecting save data integrity and allowing seamless resetting upon reloading.

6. Frequently Asked Questions Regarding GTA 5 Cheats

Can I spawn the Rhino Tank using a cheat code in GTA 5?

Unlike GTA Vice City (which had the `PANZER` cheat), Grand Theft Auto V does not feature a direct keyboard word cheat to spawn the Rhino military tank. To get the Rhino Tank in GTA 5, you must either steal it from the Fort Zancudo military base or purchase it from Warstock Cache & Carry on your in-game smartphone.

How do I turn off a cheat once it is activated?

Most cheats (such as Moon Gravity, Drunk Mode, or Slippery Cars) can be toggled off simply by typing the exact same cheat code a second time. Timed cheats like `PAINKILLER` (Invincibility) expire automatically after 300 seconds.

Do cheat codes work in GTA Online?

No. All cheat codes are strictly disabled in multiplayer GTA Online to prevent unfair advantages. They only function in single-player Story Mode and SchoolBros Sandbox Mode.
