How to File a Notice

To be actionable, your notice should include the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. The exact URL or URLs of the material you are asking us to remove, specific enough that we can locate it.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Our Response

We aim to acknowledge every valid notice within 72 hours and to remove or disable access to the identified material promptly once the notice is verified. Removal is carried out at the source, meaning the material is deleted from our storage, not merely hidden from the page.

You do not need to send a formal DMCA notice for us to act. If you are a rights holder and you tell us that content on this site belongs to you, we will take it down. We would rather remove material quickly than argue about it.

Counter-Notice

If you believe material was removed in error or through misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the address above including: your signature, identification of the removed material and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your name, address, and telephone number.

Repeat Infringers

SchoolBros will terminate access for any user who is found to be a repeat infringer.

Third-Party Embeds

Some titles on SchoolBros are embedded from external services rather than hosted by us. Where content is served by a third party, we can remove the embed from our site, but the underlying material remains under the control of that third party and notices concerning it should also be directed to them.
